By creating an account, accessing, or using DAOREM, you agree to these Terms. If you are using DAOREM on behalf of a school or educational institution, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

DAOREM provides digital tools that help schools and educational institutions manage and connect their academic, administrative, and communication activities.

Our Services may include:

DAOREM may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as our Services evolve.

2. Accounts

Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating or using an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure;
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account;
  • Ensuring that your account is used only by authorized individuals; and
  • Activities carried out through your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, you should notify DAOREM promptly.

3. Acceptable Use

4. Educational Institution Responsibilities

Schools and educational institutions using DAOREM are responsible for the information they provide to the platform and for managing appropriate user access and permissions.

Institutions are also responsible for ensuring that their use of DAOREM complies with applicable privacy, data protection, education, and other relevant laws.

5. Intellectual Property

DAOREM and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the DAOREM platform, software, branding, designs, content, and related materials.

You may use the Services only for their intended purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, sell, or commercially exploit DAOREM's software or materials without our written permission.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Where paid Services are offered:

  • Fees are charged according to the selected subscription or service plan;
  • Payments must be made when due;
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access; and
  • Fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.

DAOREM may change pricing or subscription plans with reasonable notice where applicable.

7. Suspension and Termination

DAOREM may suspend or terminate access to the Services where a user or institution:

  • Violates these Terms;

  • Creates a security or legal risk; or
  • Fails to meet applicable payment obligations.

Users or institutions may discontinue their use of DAOREM in accordance with their applicable agreement.

Following termination, data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable agreement with the institution.

DAOREM is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis.

While we work to keep the Services secure, reliable, and available, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

DAOREM is a technology platform and does not replace the legal, administrative, academic, or professional responsibilities of an educational institution.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DAOREM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, DAOREM's liability will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and any applicable agreement between DAOREM and the customer.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DAOREM, its affiliates, employees, and service providers harmless from claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of the Services;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of applicable laws; or
  • Your infringement of another person's rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be handled in accordance with applicable Nigerian law and the jurisdiction of the appropriate Nigerian courts.
